Higiene Deportiva

Sound installation based on testimonials from three ex-students who were arrested and taken to Military Camp Number 1 during the student struggle of October 2nd, 1968 in Mexico City. In these sound recordings, those interviewed express their emotions and memories of the student conflict and the Olympic games being celebrated concurrently in the same city. In the space were three books containing copies of FBI and CIA correspondence around the student conflict. The 1968 Olympic anthem played in the background.
