Waiting

“Waiting” is a diaristic video performance that approaches questions of gender, ethnicity through the representation on media. The video portraits the filmmaker and its own fragility framing her fears, thoughts, and intimate solitude confronted in her studio. Through the use of documents from two feminist artists (Faith Wilding and Chick Strand), the video performance captures the tangential tensions of these references as a female producer and women of color.

The video has been exhibited in several museums and art galleries in China, as part of the group exhibition  Women in Mexico, under the curatorial project of Elizabeth Rozz.
