Xeno Performance

The wheat-paste in the gallery is a collaborative sound collage developed with members of the collectives Collages Féministes Montréal. Gutiérrez directed a group happening, opening the microphone and the wall to individuals, generating a sonic and visual palimpsest of feminist writings. During the live event on September 26, participants read and brought their own collage phrases, creating a live wheat-paste action sonically processed by artist Gabrielle HB.
