Radio Insomnia Night Walk

Resilience, midnight steps and the moon as guide from A to Z , was a radiophonic sound walk that made audible the situated experiences at night-time carried by self-identifying female and Queer immigrant artists from South America. The performance and score included sonic prompts and storytelling to activate feminist ears, an expression of Sarah Ahmed that points to a practice of listening to fight institutional violence. The live broadcast simultaneously highlights the relational aspect and performativity of listening practices and nocturnal wandering.

The walk was transmitted live through Radio Insomnia , the night of 8th in Montréal/Tiohtià:ke (UTC-4) : Live Broadcast from the exhibition InSomnolence (Agora – Coeur des sciences).
